Echoes of Yesterday
Echoes of Yesterday Osas and Dolapo are a couple in their
60s and 50s respectively. Having retired and enjoying an empty nest, they are reminiscing about their time together and they open the floodgates of memories, the good, the bad and the ugly!
The play takes us through different phases of their lives; courtship, careers, marriage, lies/half-truths, retirement and regret. The audience is left to ponder what a couple should reveal about themselves to each other and at what stage of their relationship. The audience also considers if self preservation justifies lies and avoidant behaviour. As with all C3 Media plays, dance is an integral component in delivering this emotion packed piece.
