Chidi, a humble and principled coffin maker, is caught between the pressures of tradition and survival as he scrambles to find a wife before the year ends, all while battling the economic chaos of the country. His well-meaning but reckless best friend Kamharida introduces him to Amaka, the woman of his dreams, but impressing her without losing his moral compass—or his business—proves to be more difficult than nailing down his next customer.
