About us

Celebrating Theatre, Empowering Creativity

Who We Are

The LITF is a vibrant three-day extravaganza!
Scheduled to run November 15-17th. Four venues across Lagos will come alive with a diverse range of performances and each venue will be transformed into a theatrical hub, buzzing with vendors and interactive activities, making LITF a truly immersive experience.

The Lagos International Theatre Festival is more than just a celebration of the arts; it’s a competition, a platform for creative exchange, and a catalyst for cultural diplomacy. We recognize and award outstanding playwrights, directors, and performers, while also fostering collaboration between Nigerian artists and the global theatre community.

Mission
To celebrate and elevate the art of theatre by showcasing diverse and innovative performances, fostering cultural exchange, and providing a platform for talent in Nigeria and beyond. We aim to inspire creativity, engage communities, and contribute to the growth of the performing arts industry through collaborative and educational initiatives.
Vision
To be a leading international theatre festival that enriches the global cultural landscape, empowers creative minds, and drives the development of the arts in Africa. A festival that promotes the power of storytelling to connect people across cultures and generations.
