The EVANGELIST is convinced that God has abandoned him and has trouble comprehending why God will not answer his prayers as He did Jabez’s. He is unable to understand why God would leave him, an evangelist with no option for a livelihood beyond being waiter at a lounge, serving alcohol. Then, God comes visiting! He is further confused and utterly disappointed when God tells him that he is not the one that his entire call is to serve as an assistant to one of the most notorious womanizing, eternally drunk, brawler night crawler on the entire Island, GIDDY. The play interrogates human expectations, his spirituality and understanding of it, purpose and asking using relevant Bible passages centered on the 10 Commandments of the Bible, human laws, basic rwasoning and comedy.
